No matter how well prepared you are and how groomed for a task you are, there is no escaping the fact that occasionally you will stumble. You will feel the butterflies in your stomach. You will forget to make a call or forget your presentation and you will become nervous.
You will skip reading out of laziness or fatigue. You will indulge out of peer pressure and forego a healthy diet. You will miss an important meeting out of misaligned priorities. When your efforts results to a failure, it is easy to revert to the old self and continue with undesirable habits you had hoped to drop.
…And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect...Romans 12:2
This all is part of growth, part of a journey of becoming a version of true self. It comes as a package in your desire to improve your wellbeing. If this is the case, you need to accept it, accept the fact that you can and possibly will miss to hit the mark in your attempts. The sooner you accept it, the easier it become to handle challenges when they show up. Your failure is not waste of time, energy or resources, failure can lead to new opportunities or lead to improvements.
When you are discouraged, remember all struggles present opportunities that can convert into lessons that will aid you in your entire life, or even in your business or family. Appreciate that you are accountable for all that you experience. Choose supportive thoughts that will help align you with the truth, the truth that even if I miss, I am learning new ways of doing things. Release the feelings of fear; build confidence to move on in the midst of difficult times.
